In this article, we'll show you how to create a waypoint objective. Waypoint objectives are a series of sequential, operator-defined waypoints that the drone will autonomously execute.
1. To create a waypoint objective, you must first start creating a flight plan (See Creating a Flight Plan).
To add objectives to your flight, tap on the “Add objective +” button at the bottom of the new flight plan page.
2. When creating a waypoint objective, simply tap the map to add waypoints. To confirm the waypoints the user must tap and hold the first waypoint.
3. The user can then pull the details tab up to change the objective details from the default settings. By default, the action on the finish is set to end, the speed is set to 10m/s, and the altitude is set to 63m in metric units.
4. Once the waypoints and the objective details are confirmed, you can click next to either save the flight plan or add more objectives. If you save the flight plan, you will be directed to the launch flight plan screen. Here you can either fly your flight plan immediately on your DJI drone or save it for later.
